Michael has over seven years of experience working as a professional accountant with a specific focus on financial services. He provides tailored corporate and fiduciary services, including corporate administration services to regionally arrange Islamic and conventional finance structures. The structures include Cayman Islands incorporated Sukuks, Dubai International Financial Centre (''DIFC'') special purpose companies, DIFC domiciled funds and other international structures which benefit from local service.
In addition to this, Michael provides bespoke outsourced compliance services for regional clients. He also possesses extensive client accounting experience, working with leading multinational funds, hedge funds and private equity structures.
Michael joined MaplesFS in 2017. Previously, Michael spent two years working for Pepper Asset Servicing, a leading, multinational asset manager. His role was to manage a non-performing loan portfolio comprising over one hundred clients, secured by real estate based across Ireland and the UK. Here he specialised in debt restructuring, insolvency advisory and asset disposals. Prior to this, Michael spent five years with PwC, working in both their Dublin and Jersey office where he provided external audit assurance services to clients across the financial services sector.
