Expertise

Peter is Global Head of Maples Fiduciary and is a member of the MaplesFS executive management team. Resident in Cayman since 1995, Peter has extensive experience with a number of different types of investment funds including global macro, equity long-short, credit, credit long-short, private equity, commodity and fund of hedge funds. He oversees a team of professionals that provide directorship, trustee, private trust, share trustee, conflict advisory review and corporate secretarial services to over 1,500 Cayman and Irish domiciled investment funds.

Professional Background

Prior to joining MaplesFS as Chief Operating Officer in 2005 which evolved to his current role, Peter was previously director and Chief Investment Officer of Close Asset Management (Cayman), a division of Close Brothers (Cayman) Limited where he and his team provided investment solutions to high net worth families and private wealth trusts. Prior to that he was a partner and director of a boutique investment management firm located in Canada called Lighthouse Private Client Corp. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Canada and the Cayman Islands.
